RALLY DAY 2015: September 13

Rally Day 2015 started at 7:30am with many volunteers putting up tents, bringing out tables and chairs, and getting the barbeque started.  The coolers were filled with pop, water, and lots of ice.  Many generous people brought delicious salads, which were all greatly appreciated.  There was so much to pick from that it was hard to make a choice.

The vendors set up their tents with goodies to sell. The many animals came for the petting zoo. And games to play – Wow!  The children had a hard time picking what to do when -- and where.  Then there were tickets for the 50-50 raffle. The classic cars and the motorcycles came from far and near for all to look at and remember the good old days. The food was being cooked, and it smelled so good.

After the church service so many people came to look and eat and visit. There were so many people that helped this year.   We’re all so grateful for those who helped make our 2015 Rally Day so successful. From the ones who set up everything, to those who cooked and wrapped, to those who helped serve, and from those who sold tickets for the 50-50 raffle, to those who did the registration of the cars and motorcycles, to the firemen who brought the fire truck and ambulance for the children to sit in, to all those who helped brake it all down at the end – THANK YOU!
