The Altar Guild

The Altar Guild ministry group ensures the Sanctuary is a holy place, welcoming worshipers!

We often forget about the behind-the-scenes of each service. In fact, it takes a village for each service to take place, allowing our congregation to focus on what matters - our faith!

The Altar Guild is the group that is responsible for…

• Communion setup and dismantling (three services per week and special services),

• Changing banners and paraments throughout the church season,

• Cleaning the altar area,

• Decorating the sanctuary for special seasons,

• Setting up for baptisms and weddings,

• Arranging and displaying altar flowers,

• Maintaining Acolyte robes.
