PARTICIPATION - sharing your gifts!

Giving is a spiritual practice that not only enhances purpose in our lives but also helps bring fulfillment in the lives of others. In following Jesus, we connect to missions bigger than ourselves, and the impact we can make is GREAT. There are several different ways to give through Christus Victor Lutheran Church. Through your engagement in ministry and your financial contributions, we are making an impact and helping people to live better lives, all the while growing in our own faith. Your generous donations help support all the various mission activities of Christus Victor Lutheran Church. We are a GIVING community aimed at making the Living Christ known and enriching the lives of those in our communities and around the world. DIY ELECTRONIC GIVING

You can make one-time or recurring gifts through our online giving portal. Contributions can be made from your checking or savings account, or from a credit or debit card. We partner with Vanco to provide these options. To give, please click the button below and click “Regular Giving.”
Note: To give once instead of recurring payments, click “One time,” as the default is “Recurring.”

You can also download the Vanco app through your phone’s App store!

TRADITIONAL ENVELOPES

All new members are automatically assigned an envelope number and will receive their box of giving envelopes in their new member welcome gift bag. Boxes of giving envelopes are distributed annually. Envelopes can be placed in the offering plate during worship or mailed to the church office. If you use electronic giving and would like your envelopes discontinued, please contact the church office at 847-437-2666 or email Finance at finance@cvlc.org.

TAX-ADVANTAGED GIVING

DONATE STOCK

Christus Victor accepts stock donations. Stock options are converted to cash, which is then put to use per the donor's designation. If you are interested in giving in this way, please call the church office (847-437-2666), and they will connect you with a person from the finance team who can help you.

GIVE FROM YOUR IRA

If you are 70.5 and older, you can give to Christus Victor directly from your IRA account while reducing your future tax burden. If you are subject to a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), these funds will also count towards your RMD for the year. If you are interested in giving in this way, please call the church office (847-437-2666), and they will connect you with a person from the finance team who can help you.

GIVE FROM YOUR DAF

Do you have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)? You can support Christus Victor with money you’ve already set aside. To notify us of your gift intention, please call the church office (847-437-2666), and they will connect you with a person from the finance team who can help you.

WILLS, TRUSTS, INSURANCE, ESTATE PLANS

You can keep making an impact in this world beyond the years you are blessed to be alive. Estate plans can easily include both concerns for children and grandchildren in addition to the causes and ministries that we value today. Give While in Worship

With all of our giving options, you can also always participate in the offering during the worship service. Simply scan the QR code in the pews to be directed to our Vanco Online Giving site to contribute to Regular Giving.
