Supporting Our Community’s Most Urgent Needs
On February 27, 2026, the first annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors Gala was held at The Belvedere. The evening was filled with delicious food, great conversation, lively music, and dancing, creating a joyful night of fellowship and generosity. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, the gala raised over $14,000! We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make the evening a success—the planning team who worked hard behind the scenes, those who donated, 2 Pro DJs, and everyone who celebrated and supported the event. You show what it means for neighbors to help neighbors.

The “Why” Behind the Gala
Every day, more families and individuals turn to Christus Victor Lutheran Church for help. With growing demand for food, shelter, caregiving support, and emotional wellness programs, we need your partnership more than ever.
About Christus Victor
Christus Victor offers a wide range of essential services and meaningful programs. Each reflects the commitment to meeting immediate needs, while empowering individuals and families to build brighter futures. These initiatives are supported by community volunteers, local donations, and grants — but must also rely on contributions to cover facilities, utilities, technology, and administrative support.
Here are some of the many contributions Christus Victor brings to its local community:
Food Pantry that serves 60+ households monthly
A Caring Place respite care program that is open four days each week
A PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter) location that houses and feeds an average of 30 homeless individuals each week
An Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner for those who do not have the means to make their own meal or who can’t be with loved ones
Multiple community events, including a 5K at Busse Woods
Multiple youth programs for those aged 6 months to teenagers
A facility that houses many groups to help individuals navigate life together (GriefShare, MomCo, Men in Action, ESL, AA for Women, learning sessions, and more)

Join us at Christus Victor’s Annual “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” Gala each February at The Belvedere in Elk Grove. This special evening will bring together neighbors, volunteers, and community leaders to celebrate hope, resilience, and the meaningful work happening in and through Christus Victor. We also present awards to folks who have been constant supporters of Christus Victor and its work in the community. This night serves as our most important fundraising event of the year—one that determines how many people we can serve in the months ahead. With a DJ, multi-course dinner, and dancing, it’s a wonderful night!

Sponsorship Levels
Please consider becoming an advocate for your local neighborhood and supporting Christus Victor through one of the below sponsorship levels. Every contribution truly makes a difference.
Community Champion – $10,000
Helps provide the resources of food pantry distributions, emergency shelter nights, and expanded support group resources.
· Includes a reserved table for 10 at the Fundraiser Dinner and recognition in the event program.
· Special recognition in our annual report and the following for 1 year
o Recognition on our website, and prominent placement in our food pantry, mentions at internal and external community and volunteer events such as our Thanksgiving Dinner, Car Shows, and 5K
Neighborhood Advocate – $7,500
Supports ongoing respite care services and weekly support group programming.
· Includes 7 complimentary tickets to the Fundraiser Dinner and recognition in the event program.
· Special recognition in our annual report and the following for 6 months.
o Recognition on our website, and prominent placement in our kitchen dinning and small group gathering area, and mentions at internal and external community and volunteer events such as our Thanksgiving Dinner, Car Shows, and 5K
Helping Hands Partner – $5,000
Assists with essential supplies for food preparation and resources for PADS.
· Includes 5 complimentary tickets to the Fundraiser Dinner and recognition in the event program.
· Special recognition in our annual report and the following for 3 months.
o Recognition on our website, and prominent placement in our kitchen.
Friend of the Community – $2,500
Assists with essential resources and supplies for youth and support groups.
· Includes 2 complimentary tickets to the Fundraiser Dinner and recognition in the event program.
· Special recognition in our annual report and for 3 months.
o Recognition on our website, and prominent placement in our Fellowship Café.
