Making Christ Known

We are an Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) congregation growing in the likeness of Christ by:

Worshiping, praying, and studying God’s word;
Being together with other people; and
Acting in faith through words and deeds both inside and outside our church walls.

“Hindu Faith In America”

Special Guest Speaker: Paul Dave

Sunday, September 15

9:00 a.m. in Inspiration Room

In an effort to promote greater understanding between faiths and support our Hindu brothers and sisters with love, respect and empathy, we will be hosting Paul Dave from the University of Chicago during our Sunday Bible class.  Paul and his 94 -year-old father, Jagdish, recently taught a course at University of Chicago on the Hindu experience in the US.  Paul will provide background and context on the origins of Hinduism, discuss important tenants of their faith, address misconceptions, and discuss how Hinduism has had to adapt to American culture.
